At this point as a keen observer of human nature one might think the EG POW Open was doomed to obscurity.  Only three pictures remain from the 1983 event.  There may have been a fire or the pictures were on the old nitrate film.  No one knows for sure or will confess as to why there are so few pictures.  It may simply be that the first couple of events did not have the Sacred Archives in place to store these relics of our mystical past.  Do not judge these monks of golf too harshly as they were still young and did not know how important these sacred relics would be to future POW’s and the POW Sacred Archives.
